Whistling Past the Graveyard was one of the best books that I have read in a long time. Very realistic for the time period and I loved the characters especially Starks. She is one of the moat brave souls in this book and I connected with her on a personal level because she was everything I wasn’t as a child. Kudos to Susan Crandall, will definitely be searching for more books by her!
Debra, had to laugh, Starla is made up of a lot of the spunk and bravery that I also lacked as a child. I’m a born rule-follower!
