I love your books. Was with Kathy Murphy this weekend on a Pulpwood Queen trip & she was reading this. I so wanted to read this but didn’t have time to sneak it away.
I fell in love with your writing a while back with A Kiss in Winter……….I chose that one for the book club that I host. I remember that everyone loved that book…………I then went on to read On Blue Falls Pond and couldn’t put that one down. Love the way you write. I did read Whistling Past the Graveyard when it came out and Pitch Black. I recommend your books when people ask me about authors I like. I have your others on my list and I have just recently resigned from my job and am reading like crazy. I host two book clubs and would love to have your new book to have in my collection of signed books from authors. My husband built me a book case to put them in………..and I look at them often. As you know, once I started reading your novels, I did not stop searching until I found all of them to add to my collection! I have thoroughly enjoyed reading each and everyone of them; therefore, it is hard for me to select one as my favorite. However, I really enjoyed your first series of the small Indiana town (Glens Crossing) and following the characters subsequent lives. Also, I thoroughly enjoy searching for that certain name of a familiar person or place of business! One day, I hope to find one of your characters listening to one of STEVE WARINER’S songs on the radio!

I stayed up late last night reading half of “Whistling Past The Graveyard.” My friends always send me bookstore gift cards for my birthday and I found your book in the wrong section (business) but it ended up being in the right section, because I have thoroughly enjoyed it. The book has such a southern feel to it that I thought you just HAD to be from the south (where I live now)…. but was surprised that you are a fellow Hoosier. Sooooooo….. this former small-town Hoosier farm girl would LOVE a sneak peak at your new book.
Starla from Whistling Past the Graveyard was such a fabulous character! That book is the one I most recommend to others – it was thought provoking and filled with inspiring characters and ideas.
